Author Bio

Jessica Hawkins grew up between the purple mountains and under the endless sun of Palm Springs, California. She studied international business at Arizona State University and has also lived in Costa Rica and New York City. To her, the most intriguing fiction is forbidden, and that's what you'll find in her stories. Currently, she resides wherever her head lands, which is often the unexpected (but warm) keyboard of her trusty MacBook.

I saw some others saying they needed to process after reading this story and I didn't truly understand until I finished myself. I had to take a step back after reading and think about everything I just read. It was thought-provoking and beautiful and absolutely killed me. Heart in pieces, and yet hopeful and full of love. I still need to know everything about these characters. I need the next book now. I can't wait to read more from this series. After the first book, I believe I wrote the same. Jessica Hawkins just keeps you wanting more everytime. Can't wait to see what she decides to come up with next!
