“What is the price you’re willing to pay?” “Money isn’t an issue.” “I’m not talking about money.”
Tate is on the hunt to find his best friend’s sister. Eleven years ago, Lucia Dias was abducted. Presumed dead. He never met her, so why does he care? Some might call his efforts noble, but his motivation is more perverse, bordering on obsession.
When he follows a chilling lead to Venezuela’s Kidnap Alley, what he finds is neither a corpse nor a captive.
Amid poisonous lies and crippling depravity, the price of love is devastation. And he pays. With his body, his blood, and her life.

Camila was seventeen when Van Quiso kidnapped her. Ten years after her escape, the shackles refuse to release her. Not while there are still slave traders preying on her city. She will stop at nothing to end them. Even if that means becoming a slave again. Returning to chains is her worst fear—and only option. They won’t know who she is or what she intends to do. She’s prepared for every complication. Except him. The one who decimated her sixteen-year-old heart. Matias is charming, gorgeous, and dangerously seductive. He’s also untrustworthy and enshrouded in secrets. After years of no contact, he finds her—on her knees, wrists bound, in the clutches of her enemy. Will he sabotage her mission by needlessly saving her? Or will he keep her in chains and never let her go?

Devastate (Deliver, #4)Devastate by Pam Godwin My rating: 5 of 5 stars Would it be too cheesy to say I was Devastated by this? Yes? Oh well. That is what I am going with. I was absolutely devastated by this story. I mean this as it was absolutely brilliant and left me speechless. It was dark and delicious and this series just seems to get better and better. This has to be my favorite so far. Ignore the fact that I have most likely said this with other books in this series. I loved this book and I could not put it down! It was everything I was looking for when delving into this story and more. I cannot wait to see what Pam will give us next. Oh and no I am not talking at all about the storyline. That needs to be experienced for yourself. View all my reviews

Review: What He Doesn't Know

What He Doesn't Know by Kandi Steiner
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am officially gutted from this story. I am done for. How will I be able to stand another book in this duet? Kandi's writing is absolutely beautiful and there is not a single book by her that I haven't loved. This book I am now going on record as saying is my favorite of hers so far and that is really saying something. Of course I am sure I will say that with her next book and the next book after that, because they are all amazing.

I don't want to talk about the storyline of this book, because I believe you need to read this story for yourselves. There is heartache and angst. There is love and moments that make you swoon. There is fun and steam. It has everything and yet I feel like it has so much more. This is such a stunning story and I am dying for the next book in this series!

I loved him from the age of sixteen. Hated him from the age of eighteen. He disappeared at the age of nineteen. We started off as enemies, then fast became lovers. But our story isn’t a happily ever after. It was a story of a king and a peasant. Can you guess which I was? I knew we weren’t meant to be. You see, he fell in love with her first. He loved me last. I'm not someone's second choice. Not even for the boy who stole my heart. I'm someone's first. Now, I just have to remember that.
