Arrogant Coach (A Bad Boy Stepbrother Romance)
By
Cara Chance
Genre: Erotic Romance
Cover Reveal: January 15th
Hosted By: Chance Promotions

Synopsis:

Jordan Knox is the hot, forbidden, bad boy, heart breaker I lust after. He’s the son of my dad’s new wife and it's wrong for me to think about him as anything more than family.
But, it’s not like I can avoid him; he’s also my track coach at the exclusive private boarding school I attend. Every afternoon he puts me through my paces, training me for my next meet.

Lately, I've been noticing more than brotherly affection in his gaze and the touches that used to be innocent sometimes linger longer than necessary.
He wants to coach me in more than one way.

This is a short novella with insta-love, no cheating, hot sex and a guaranteed HEA.

Excerpt:

"One more week and then you won't have any hold over me," I whisper to him too tired to yell.
"I'll always have a hold over you," Jordan responds without missing a beat.
"You're such an."
"Ah don't let your words discredit this fine establishment."
"Inconsiderate meany head," I finish lamely.
Jordan laughs so hard he stops walking and puts his hands on his knees to keep from falling over. I stop my foot and go and sit on the grass.
Screw him and his cool downs.
Jordan gets his laughter under control and comes to sit next to me. "Meany head."
"I'm tired. You have been making run all over. You do realize this is the last week before finals? My senior finals."
Jordan's lips turn down as he sits down on the grass and pulls one of my legs on his thighs.
"What are you doing?" I shriek trying to take my leg back but Jordan's hands are clamped tight around it.
My head flops on the grass as his fingers start working my calf.
"You're a smart girl. Well some of the time."
"What is that supposed to mean?" I ask my voice in a purr as he continues working my leg into jello.
"You are a straight A student. I'm sure you don't even need to study. I was just trying to keep you busy so you wouldn't make any stupid decisions."
I yank my leg away and Jordan lets me, but only so he can grab my other and work into the knotted tissue.
"Stupid decisions such as Oscar?"
"See you catch on quick."
"I like Oscar. He's nice to me and he hasn't pushed me to do anything."
Jordan's hands stop in the middle of my calf and he applies pressure. I lift up my head to look at him and his face is stony.
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" he asks in a growl.
"Well, not that's it any of your business, but I was supposed to study with him this whole week but thanks to your."
"Inconsiderate meany head ways," he adds.
"Yes, I have fallen asleep every night and haven't been able to hang out with him. Unlike you he understands."
"Brooklyn, I'm going to tell you this one more time. You will stay away from, Oscar. You will stay away from all the boys. Do I make myself clear?"
"Ugh, you are like a big brother. Annoying and sticks his nose where it doesn't belong. Stay out out of my business."
"Your business, is my business"
"I don't need you to protect me Jordan. I'm a big girl."
"Then act like it. You keep saying you're a big girl, and you're nineteen. But then you keep making these stupid decisions that I have to clean up."
"It's just a date. A guy likes me. Why is that so hard for you to understand?"
"He doesn't like you. He's using you. And if you're too stupid to figure out what he is using you for I can spell it out for you."
"You are such a jerk." I stand up and my legs cry from being removed from Jordan's warm hands of wonder.
"Call me whatever you want. Just stay away from him. It will only end badly."
"Don't tell me what to do," I stomp my calf tightening almost to the point of cramping. I shake it off refusing to let him know he was right about cooling off.
"I'll tell you what to do until you stop making dumb choices."
"Goodnight, Jordan." I say over my shoulder as I walk away.
"Stay away from him or I promise you won't be able to sit for a week."
I flip him off but I'm far enough away I'm not sure if he sees it or not.
